TAP Brings Saturday Morning Cartoons Back to Television!

The Animation Project, in partnership with BronxNet Television, presents Animated Life with TAP! We welcome you to indulge in the vibrant, dramatic & intense animated features made by the fantastic residents of the Bronx!

Animated Life with TAP is a monthly series showcasing animated shorts created by the participants of Bronx-based TAP groups over the years. Each episode, a guest hosts from the community guides the audience through an opening ritual, invites us to reflect upon each story, and ends with a closing ritual. Our anchor host Lyndon Sylvester, TAP’s Community Outreach Specialist, bookends each episode with important information and announcements.

Episode 1 premiered on Saturday, December 4th, at 10:30 AM. TAP staff celebrated with a watch party where we enjoyed the episode together on Zoom while also being sharing it with family and friends.

We did it!

We uplift the entire team at TAP Studio for all of their contributions in the making of each episode. From coordinating, production, and editing to voiceovers, animation, and promotion, our team of professional animators, creative arts therapists, and graduate interns work very hard to bring these episodes together so beautifully. And they have a lot of fun doing it!

We thank BronxNet for this opportunity to partner in bringing TAP and the voices of our participants to a larger audience. It is an honor to join BronxNet programming.
