School Programs

In TAP’s School Programs, students (elementary, middle and high school) engage in educational and therapeutic production-based classes where they work as a team to tell their story and learn various aspects of the animation pipeline. Our program can be run during school and after school hours. Curriculum is adjusted according to developmental stage and has been created in accordance with NYS DOE standards.

What oftentimes sounded like a rowdy, unstructured group was simply young people engaging in discussions, decision-making, collaboration, team-building, and risk-taking. Students’ willingness to participate in these group activities are testimony that The Animation Project staff are skilled at creating a climate of freedom and comradery.
